Live Scan technology allows digitally scanned fingerprints and related information to be submitted electronically to the Department of Justice within a matter of minutes and allows criminal background checks to be processed usually within 72 hours.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In California, fingerprinting must be done by a certified fingerprint roller or qualified law enforcement personnel.

 

Live Scan appointments can be made by calling the ISA office during business hours. Live Scan appointments can be scheduled anytime between 9am and 430pm, Mon-Fri PST.

 

Requirements:

Live Scan Form- MUST be brought with you (Live Scan forms are generally supplied by the employer requesting the Live Scan). The form must be completely filled out prior to arriving.

 

Identification – acceptable forms are VALID CA DL or CA ID or Passport, if they have no CA ID/DL out-of-state DL or ID is acceptable as long as it is not expired

 

Payment:

We accept cash, check or credit card (for an additional 3.75% processing fee 

 

Cost:

$25 Base Fee

+ $30 for Department of Justice (depending on license)

+ $19 for FBI  (depending on license)
